Health is a major concern in Togo. It is characterized by lack of education and health and hospital infrastructure. Hygiene rules are often poorly understood, poorly performed, even non-existent. This exposes the population, especially infantile, risks of disease and death. We are working to improve sanitation and access to health care to all social strata. Our students and partners deployed in the few health centers assist, train midwives and nurses in their spots. AMORAD also supports young medical education in order to add after training to insufficient number of health workers in these isolated communities.
